Mr. Jaime Robert Chavez
Jaime Robert Chavez, 39, of Linden, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
He was born in Fayetteville, NC, on July 3, 1976, to Mr. and Mrs. David and Corina Chavez.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Santos Garcia; paternal grandmother, Sara Salgado; and uncle, Joe Salgado.
Jaime is survived by his daughter, Selena Chavez; girlfriend, Jennifer Thomas; parents, Corina and David Chavez; maternal grandfather, Robert Hernandez; aunts, Marianna Carrasco and Teresa Torres; uncles, Adan Salgado, Juan Salgado, Oscar Salgado, and Fernando Salgado, and his dog, Griffin.
A memorial service conducted by Rev. Dr. Tryon Lancaster is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, in the chapel of Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service. Inurnment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service.
