Mr. Hilton McDonald Rennix, age 80, who resided in Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2015, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on December 7, 1934, in St. Kitts, British West Indies, to the late Arthur and Clarice Warner Rennix.
As a young man Hilton Rennix relocated to St. Thomas U.S. Virgin Islands where he pursued a career in retail management and was also a member of the Virgin Island Taxi Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, a sister and a son Terrence Henry Rennix.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Marsham Rennix of over 54 years; four daughters, Venus Bowlding, Belinda Rennix-Moore and husband Ishmael, Gwennetth McGee and husband Michael, and Faye Rennix; four sons Aubrey Carey and wife Denisa, Lyndon Barnes, Ronald Rennix and wife Deborah, and Cecil Barnes; two sisters Sylvia Lobban and Veronica Rennix-Caines; 25 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2015 at Sullivanâs Highland Funeral Service.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2015 in the chapel of Sullivanâs Highland Funeral Service with Father John Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park.
