Mr. Gerald “Mose†Dean Wurschum, 77, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Tuesday, February 02, 2016, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
He was born on June 9, 1938, in Niagara Falls, NY, to the late Charles Richard Wurschum and Gladys Pratt Wurschum. He was also preceded in death by a son Jerry Dean Wurschum.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Byers Wurschum, of the home; one daughter, Paula A. Faircloth, and husband Byron, of Fayetteville, NC; three sons, Toby W. Wurschum, and wife Angelika of Rio Rancho, NM, Daren L. Wurschum, and wife Ruth, of Stedman, NC, and Eric A. Wurschum, and wife Lisa, of St. Pauls, NC; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
