Mr. Gary Thomas Moss, Sr.
Mr. Gary Thomas Moss Sr., 66, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015.
He was born on January 13, 1949, in Bowling Green, KY to William Loyce Moss and Bertha Woolbright Moss.
He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church for over 38 years. Gary was an active elder and formerly served as a deacon. Most recently he served as chairman of the Westminster Presbyterian Church Spring Fest. Being affiliated with Westminster, along with mastering his favorite game of golf, brought so much enjoyment to his life.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 41 years Cathy Moss, of the home; one daughter Mary Catherine Moss, of Denver, CO; one son Gary Thomas Moss Jr., and wife Fuschia Sky Moss, of Boone, NC; three grandchildren Skylar Mae Moss, Gary Thomas Moss III, and Mitchell Brown Moss; one sister Theresa Hinds and husband Dennis, of Canton, GA; and one brother Allan Moss and wife Joni, of Rock Hill, SC; many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Westminster Presbyterian Church with Dr. J. Richard “Rick†McDuffie Jr. and Dr. Ben West officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall at the church.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church or to Westminster Spring Fest 2505 Village Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28304.
