Frank A. Acus, Sr., 86, of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2015, in the North Carolina Veterans Nursing Home.
He proudly served his country as a MSG in the U.S. Army. He was involved with the development of Special Forces.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marie and second wife, Carmen; daughter, Debbie S. Acus, son, Frank Acus, Jr.; brothers, Joe Acus, and Edward Acus.
Frank is survived by his daughters, Donna Edge and husband Larry of Parkton, Sylvia Goad and husband Don of Ft. Myers, FL; son, Joe Kidder of Mt. Airy; and stepdaughter Brenda Inman of Bumpass, VA; numerous grandchildren; and best friend, Joe Jackson.
The family has planned a private ceremony to honor the life of their loved one.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the North Carolina State Veterans Nursing Home in Frankâs honor.
