Mr. Eudis Edwin “Bud†Tanner, Jr., 70, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Highsmith-Rainey Hospital in Fayetteville, NC.
Bud was born on August 1, 1944, at Fort Bragg, NC to the late Eudis Edwin “E.E.†Tanner Sr. and Rose Marie Dzanski Tanner.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; brothers, James E. Tanner and wife Terry, Carl W. Tanner and wife Bobbie Jean, and Robert A. Tanner and wife Paulette; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 5:45 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. A memorial Service officiated by Rev. Mark Knight will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Botanical Gardens 536 N .Eastern Blvd, Fayetteville, NC, 28301 or to the charity of your choice related to heart or cancer research.
