Barry Pelletier, 76, of Hope Mills, NC, Passed away at home on Friday, October 24, 2014, surrounded by his family after a long and brave battle.
He was born on September 26, 1938, in Toronto Ontario, Canada to the late Edward and Agnes Pelletier.
He was a devoted husband to his high school sweetheart and wife of 55 years, Winnifred of Hope Mills. He was a constant source of support and laughter to his 3 daughters and son-in-laws; Linda & Bill Smith (Hope Mills, NC), Donna & Brad Hinchman (Harrisburg, NC) and Theresa & Rick Campbell (Jamestown, NC).
The light of his life were his 6 grandchildren and their husbands; Bryan Smith (Greenfield, MA), Stephanie &Tyrone Holliday (Hope Mills, NC), Laura and Brian Baillargeron (Jamestown, NC), Kevin Campbell (Jamestown, NC), Nichole Hinchman (Harrisburg, NC) and Eric Hinchman (Harrisburg, NC) as well as being blessed with 3 great grandchildren; Gabriella and Camdyn Holliday (Hope Mills, NC) and Gavin Baillargeon (Jamestown, NC).
In addition, he is survived by his sisters-in-law; Frances Timleck, Barbara Martin, Margaret Martin and Maureen Martin and brother-in-laws Leonard Martin and Vince Arrigo all of Ontario, Canada.
The family will be remembering him at the 8:30am mass at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Hope Mills, NC November 9, 2014.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made payable to Hope House, 3100 Heron Lake Court, Fayetteville, NC 28306.
