Memorial service held on Thursday, September 25, 2014, at 7pm in Crystal Springs Chapel with Rev. Bruce Suggs officiating.

Don was a devoted son, brother, husband and friend. We were blessed to have him in our lives.  Losing Don has been a great loss to his family. The loving support of friends has been a great help to us. Thank you for being there when we've needed you most and sharing in the memory of Don. Don is survived by his Father Donald R. Strickland of Dunn , Mother Billie Jean Miller of Fayetteville, Sisters Lisa McGraw, Ghent Virginia, Teresa Free of Vass NC Wife Theresa Strickland of Hope Mills and Nephews Garret McGraw and Caleb Free.
