Donald R. “Don†Cross, 81, of Linden, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Evanston, Il, on September 17, 1934, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence and Frieda Cross. Preceding him in death was his son, Mark Wesley Cross.
Don proudly served in the Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Laurie of Linden; daughters, Cynthia Burnham of Pinehurst, Donna Jackson and husband, Wayne of Linden; son, Karl Warren Cross and wife Maryann of Lillington; granddaughter, Amanda Trousdale of Naples, FL; sisters, Anne Glover of Syracuse, IN, and Carol Bresnahan of Oviedo, FL.
A private family service is planned.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to 3HC Hospice Care at Community Development Department, 3HC, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
