Mr. Domingo Arturo Ocasio Sr.
Mr. Domingo Arturo Ocasio, Sr., 63, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, in Fayetteville, NC, surrounded by his loving family.
He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War, decorated with numerous medals and commendations.
He was born on May 13, 1951, in New York, New York, to Arturo Ocasio and Anna Angelica Lopez Ocasio.
He was preceded in death by his father Arturo Ocasio.
He is survived by his wife Mildred Ocasio, of Fayetteville, NC; two daughters Shantel Casiano, and husband Angel, of Fayetteville, NC and Tincia Knight, and David, of Honolulu, Hawaii; one son Domingo Arturo Ocasio, Jr., and wife Vanessa, of Fayetteville, NC; his mother Anna Angelica Lopez Ocasio, in Astoria, New York; five sisters Anna, Carmen, Gloria, Cathy, and Angie; one brother Manuel; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service chapel Rev. Timothy Wesley Edge officiating.
