Mr. Cletus "Clete" Everritt Cronrath

Mr. Cletus Everritt Cronrath, 70, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at his residence.

He was born April 30, 1945, in Alexandria, Louisiana, to the late Cletus and Inez Everritt Cronrath.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era:  he was stationed in Japan and the South Pole.   Cletus also retired from the United States Postal Service with over 44 years of service.  Also, he was a member of Hope Mills United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years Marilyn Price Cronrath, of the home; two daughters Michelle Lynn Brewer, and husband Terry of Wilmington, NC and Debra Denise Shotwell, and husband Henry of Hope Mills, NC; three step-sons Stanley Wayne Stewart, of Spring Lake, NC, Christopher David Stewart, and wife JoAnn, of St. Pauls, NC, and Andrew Ray Smith, of St. Pauls, NC; and seven grandchildren; one sister Glenda Boyer, of Wake Forest, NC; and one brother Glen Cronrath, of Southern Pines, NC.

The family will receive friends, on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at Hope Mills United Methodist Church from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church with Dr. Dennis Sheppard and Pastor Sonny Boyer officiating.  Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park.
