Mr. Clarence Rufus Blackmon, Jr.
Mr. Clarence Rufus Blackmon, Jr., 82, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, in Fayetteville, NC.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He retired from Belk Department Store with many years of service.
He is survived by one daughter Sharon A. Clubb, of Kernersville, NC; one son Clarence J. Blackmon, of Charlotte, NC; two step-sons Anthony Perez, and wife Dena, of Wake Forest, NC, and John Perez, of Dunkin, SC; one step-daughter Sylvia Bowen, and husband Tommy of Linden, NC; four grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 28, 2015, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service and Crematory, NC.
Family and friends will proceed to cemetery in a processional following the visitation.
Graveside services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street.
