Mr. Allen Ray Brown, Sr.
Mr. Allen Ray Brown, Sr., 85, of Erwin, NC, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 19, 2014.
He served honorably as a MSG/E8 in the 82nd Airborne and Special Forces during his 27 year career.
He is survived by his wife Peggy; daughter, Karen Urick, sons; Allen and wife, Patt, Bruce and wife Sylvia, and Jimmy, 17 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 21, 2014, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be officiated by Rev. Joanne Lee and assisted by Rev. James Randall on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 11:00 am at Bunnlevel Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park West. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Community Home Care and Hospice, 400 East H Street, Erwin, NC 28339.
Services are entrusted to Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service & Crematory.
