Grace Caroline White of Fayetteville, NC won her final earthly battle on February 12, 2016. At the age of 7, and after a challenging 15 months with a rare form of brain cancer known as DIPG, Grace earned her place in the Kingdom of Heaven. She went peacefully, painlessly, and quickly, while at home and surrounded by family and friends.
Although Grace was young in years, her life was an exceptional journey full of love, happiness, and excitement. Oftentimes referred to as "Amazing Grace" by those who knew her, Grace cherished every second that God blessed her with on Earth, and honored Him by living each moment to the fullest. She loved horses, bunnies, school, and playing with her mom and siblings. Grace visited the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, Disney World, the Georgia Aquarium, the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, and numerous other exciting venues. Her travels enabled her to meet Hope and Winter, and to swim with whale sharks, manta rays, and sea turtles. She copiloted a helicopter, felt the weightless sensation of skydiving, rode horses, raced through open fields in go-carts, went deer hunting with her father, and spent countless hours learning the importance of Faith and Spirituality from her mother.
Her grandmother, JoAnne Cobble preceded her in death. Grace is survived by her loving parents, Scott and Amy White; siblings, Jackson, Sophia, and Charlotte White; grandparents, John and Lois White and Bill Cobble; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; her dog, Cody, her bunny, Patch, and her fish, Beta.
