Minnie Lou Pherribo Bonaparte, formerly of Wildwood, NJ, was born on April 3, 1935 in Hillsborough, North Carolina to the late Joseph Pherribo and Marion Wilson Pherribo Batchler. Her death occurred on July 16 , 2013.
Minnie was a devoted wife to her late husband, Henry Bonaparte Jr., of which she was married to for 46 years. Although not having any children of her own, she always had and expressed her motherly love for her nieces and nephews by her acts of kindness, goodness and support. She attended Central High School in Hillsborough, North Carolina where she graduated in the class of 1954.
Minnie begun studying the Bible with Jehovahâs Witnesses and loved what she learned so much that she dedicated her life to Jehovah and symbolized that dedication by being baptized in 1974. She served Jehovah faithfully for 39 years and, proved a faithful servant right up until her dearth . Minnie loved the ministry and found great joy in talking to others, especially her family, about Jehovah at every opportunity.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Christina Pherribo Davis, Valeria Wilson Whitted, Phyllis Wilson and, a brother, Donald Lee Pherribo. To cherish her precious memories, she is survived by a brother, William Batchler of Norristown, PA, and sisters, Phylllis Batchler Sunkett of Mesa, AZ, Gloria Jean Batchler Giddens of Norristown, PA and Cynthia Batchler of Conshohocken, PA and, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on 71st School Road on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 2:00 PM.
