Milton worked for Goodyear Tire Company for 24 years as a maintenance worker and retired from there in 2008.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife Louise Smith, 4 daughters; Cindy, Sheila, Debbie and Amber; 1 son Eddie; 11 grandchildren, Aaron, Wesley, Debbie Lynn, Veronica, Susan, Josh, Erica, Sidney, Charles Jr., Edward, Garrett 3 great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Madison, Charleigh Mae; mother myrtle Wilson, and stepmother Kathleen Wolfe, 2 brothers, Barron, Greg and 3 sisters, Agnus, Audrey and Susan.
He is preceded in Death by 1 son Charles Milton Smith, Grandson Michael Ethridge and 1 brother Elbert Smith
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Saturday October 29, 2011, at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday October 30, 2011, at Cape Fear Baptist Church, 100 Indian Drive, Fayetteville NC.
He will truly be missed by a host of family and friends.
