Mildred Melvin Bullock
Mrs. Mildred Melvin Bullock, 89, of Eastover, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, in Fayetteville, NC.
She was born on February 4, 1924, in Cumberland County, NC to the late Harvey V. Melvin and Pauline Melvin.
She was a member of Oak Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, in Stedman, NC.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Bullock.
She was survived by one son James Ronnie Bullock, and his wife Rhonda, of Blackville, SC; one daughter Judith Ann Roe, and her husband Bernie, of Marianna, FL; three brothers Vance Melvin, of Eastover, NC, Harold Melvin, of Salemburg, NC, and John C. Melvin, of Eastover, NC; one sister Juanita Herbert, of Chili, WI; and six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 5, 2013, at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Oak Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Stedman, NC with Pastor David Taylor officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Oak Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church 6536 Oak Grove Church Road, Stedman NC 28391.
