Matthew C. Hall

Matthew Hall, 50, of Eastover, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020, at Cape Fear Medical Center.

He was born in Fayetteville, on May 26, 1970, to Mitchell and Karen Hall.  He was preceded in death by his father, Mitchell; grandparents, Harvey and Vernadell Hall and Lois and Carmen Tommasi.

He loved fishing and watching Nascar.  His favorite drivers were Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

Left to cherish Matthew’s memory is his son, Dylan Hall and fiancée Daria Dufour; mother, Karen Hall and husband Bob Hill; Aunts and Uncles, Susan and Michael Thomas, Bobby and Muriel Hall, Vicky Hall, and Gwendolyn and Dennie Campbell; and cousins, Cain, Joey, Stephanie, Victoria, Greg, and Lexie, and many other cousins.

The family will welcome friends from 5 to 7 pm on Friday, August 28, 2020, at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral service.  A private burial will take place at Lebanon Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105
