Mrs. Marjorie Moore Clark, 96, of Fayetteville, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Carolina Inn, in Fayetteville, NC.
She was born on August 1, 1916, in Williamston, NC, to the late Charles Oscar Moore and Martha Thomas Brown Moore.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 67 years A. Wilbur Clark, her sister Doris Moore Boyce, and one grandson Todd M. Sullivan.
She was a devoted member of Highland Presbyterian Church. She was a former member of Fayetteville Woman's Club, a active supporter of the Salvation Army, and numerous other civic organizations.
She is survived by two daughters Martha Clark Sullivan, and husband Bob M. Sullivan, of Fayetteville, NC, and Nancy Clark Culler, of Fayetteville, NC; five grandchildren Jennifer C. Pippin, and husband Joey, of Raleigh, NC, Kristen Culler, of Virginia Beach, VA, Emily Culler, of Fayetteville, NC and Gretchen McDuffie, and husband Tripp, of Raleigh, NC, and Karen Mercer, and husband Edward, of Atlanta, GA; seven great-grandchildren Sarah, Hannah, Emma, Davis, Drew, Alex, and Miles.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013, at Cross Creek Cemetery #4 with Dr. J. Ernest Johnson officiating.
Funeral Services to follow at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 15, 2013, at Highland Presbyterian Church.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
