Lucy Allen Riddle

Mrs. Lucy Allen Riddle, 92, of Fayetteville and formerly of Gray's Creek, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, in Village Green Nursing Home. Mrs. Riddle retired from Cumberland County schools. She was a member of St. Pauls Baptist Church and an active member of the Fayetteville Camelia Club and the Gray's Creek Woman's Club. A memorial service will be held Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at 1 p.m. in Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service & Crematory, 610 Ramsey St. in Fayetteville. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street. Dr. Tyron Lancaster will officate the services. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight, Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at the funeral home. Mrs. Riddle is survived by her daughter, Buntie Russ of Fayetteville, son, Glenn Riddle and wife Gail of Gray's Creek; sister Lina Nussbaum of Virginia Beach, Va.; and two perfect grandchildren, Joey Riddle of Boston, and Dr. Libba Russ of Boston.
