Lou Ellen Buie

Lou Ellen Buie, 84, of Fayetteville, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020.

She was born in Bladen County on July 11, 1936, to the late Livingston and Addie Prevatte.

She was a longtime member of Second Baptist Church.  Traveling was a passion of hers, especially cruises.  When not on a cruise she could be found playing cards and competitive Bingo with her friends.

Lou leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, James Buie and wife Arlene of Fayetteville; granddaughters, Reagan Parrish and husband Art of Morehead City, Lauren Pearce and husband Steven of Charlotte, and Mandy Rice and husband Travis of Harrisburg; great grandchildren, Ethan, Scarlett, Wesley, Parker, Lincoln, Lane, and Analise; brother, Whitey Prevatte of Wilmington, and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service is planned for 1pm at Lafayette Memorial Park on Saturday, October 10, 2020.
