Linda Crenshaw Godwin

Mrs. Linda Crenshaw Godwin, 75, of St. Pauls passed away at her home on Thursday, June 8, 2023.

She was born in Parkton, NC on June 2, 1948, to the late Alice & Max Crenshaw. She was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Richard Vance Godwin, and her sister, Patsy Crenshaw Long.

Linda loved being at the beach, going to casinos, watching & playing sports, and being with family. She was a member of Born Again Ministries church where she enjoyed fellowship with her church family. She will be remembered for her sassy, loving, and “tell it like it is” spirit.

Left to cherish the memory of Linda are her sons, Brian Walker and wife Keisha Walker of Parkton, Benny Godwin and wife Angie Godwin of Fayetteville, Patrick Godwin of Fayetteville; her two granddaughters, Hannah Godwin Bullard and husband Andrew Bullard IV of Hope Mills, Madison Walker of Parkton; and one great grandson Andrew Bullard V; brothers, Terry Crenshaw and wife Donna Crenshaw of Tar Heel and Jimmy Crenshaw and wife Patricia Crenshaw of Fayetteville.

The memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service.
