Kenny W. Barnard

Kenny W. Barnard 43, of Fayetteville, NC, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.

Kenny was born on December 24, 1978, in Fayetteville, NC to Ken Barnard and the late Genie Williams.

Kenny was a graduate of Terry Sanford High School, Class of 1997.

He was a skilled carpenter and handy with anything mechanical.  Kenny approached everything in life wide open, that’s just how he was, all or nothing. He had many friends growing up in this community and all that knew him will tell you he had a tremendous personality, capable of filling any room that he entered. Deep down Kenny had a huge heart, a big smile, and lots of laughter to be shared with anyone that met him. His joy is now silent, but hopefully his smile will live in the hearts and memories of those that knew him best. 

He is survived by his father Ken Barnard and step mother Pamela Barnard, of Fayetteville NC, step father Jay Williams of Four Oaks, NC; sister Jennifer Sessoms and husband Christian Sessoms of Fayetteville, NC, sister Lauren Jarman and husband Jesse Jarman of Four Oaks, NC; nephews and nieces John Christian, Landon, Cliff, Aiden, Alice, Caroline, and Zoey; aunts and uncles, Mike and Cynthia Barnard, Jeanette and Gary Herring, Phil and Mary Barnard, Kermit Hines, Marlene and Wayne Dunn, Jimmy and Sonia Hines, and Chuck Hines.  Kenny had a large extended family full of loving cousins, their children, and friends, too many of which to all be named here.

The family will receive visitors at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service in Fayetteville, NC from 1 to 3pm Sunday, November 13, 2022.
