Kenneth Dale Angell, age 67, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012 at his home in Fayetteville.
Ken was born and grew up in Broadway, N.C. He owned and operated Edmac Trucking Company and Cape Fear Heating and Air Conditioning over a period of 45 years, in Fayetteville. He was a faithful member of Highland Presbyterian Church for 49 years, and he enjoyed gardening, swimming, birdwatching, and spending time with his family.
Ken was a loving and caring husband, father, brother, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Lowery Taylor Angell; a son, Kenneth Dale Angell, Jr., and wife Veronica of Cary, NC; daughter Kathryn Elizabeth Angell and husband Andrew Murphy, of Highland Park, New Jersey; stepson Grover Cleveland Taylor, IV, of Hope Mills; and five grandchildren (Rachael Kathryn Angell, Caroline Lindsay Angell, Peter Nathaniel Murphy, Nicholas Patrick Angell, and Samuel McLeod Murphy). He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathryn McLeod Angell; his father Claude Edward Angell, and his mother Beulah Thomas Angell.
Following a private burial service in Sanford, Dr. Ernie Johnson will officiate at Kenâs memorial service, which will be held at 4:00pm on Sunday, December 2, at Highland Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville, followed by a reception at the church.
