Judy Smith Tierney

Judy Smith Tierney, 79, of Fayetteville, passed away at home on August 17, 2024,

Judy was born in Cumberland County to the late Richard and Ernestine Smith. She was a graduate of Stedman High School, class of 1962. She worked in the banking industry for many years before retiring from Qualex in 2003.

Services will be held at a later date.

Judy is survived by her two daughters, Robin Wilkinson and Deborah Tierney, both of Fayetteville; one grandson, Tyler and his girlfriend, Erica Warner; two nephews, Kenneth Smith and David Carter; and her beloved cousin, Virginia Suggs.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Leroy Smith.
