John C. Clark, loving father and friend, died Wednesday September 7, 2011. A native of Fayetteville, he was employed early in his life by Roses Stores, Inc. and in more recent times operated his own home remodeling and woodworking business.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James McNeil Clark and Lillian Crawford Clark and his brother, James Clark.
He is survived by his son, John C. Clark, Jr.; daughter, Joanna Meredith; grandchildren, Kevin and Ashley Meredith; and a sister, Betty Ann Robbins.
A memorial service will be held Monday, September 12, 2011 at 2 P.M. at hay Street United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Harvin officiating. A gathering for friends and family will be held in the church fellowship hall from 1:30-2:00 P.M.
In Lieu of flowers the family request that memorial gifts be made to the building fund at Hay Street United Methodist Church
