John Chavis

Johnathon “John” Scott Chavis, 19, of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018.

He was born in Fayetteville on October 25, 1998.  Preceding John in death was his uncle, Ryan Ciszkowski.

A competitor at heart, he loved music, fashion and video games.  But his greatest love was his mom.

Left to cherish John’s memory are his parents Erika Vilaro and Charles Campbell, sisters, Elisa, Elizabeth, Destiny and Grace; brothers, Davion, Ridge, and Evan; grandparents, Regina and Robert Garroutte, Ron and Tina Thompson, Robert and Renee Ciszkowski, Paul and Judy Ravenna; great grandma, Carol Witczak; aunts, Rachel and Meagan; and a large extended family who love him dearly.

The family will honor John with a time of remembrance from 7 to 9 pm on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service.
