Jimmy Patrick McManus

FAYETTEVILLE - Jimmy P. McManus, 78, of Fayetteville, passed away Monday, June 4, 2012, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, surrounded by his family.

He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. McManus is survived by his wife, Rachael Cannon McManus of Fayetteville; a daughter, Lisa Price of Fayetteville; a son, Darrell McManus and wife Deidre of Fayetteville; a sister, June McLaurin and husband David of Tallahassee, Fla.; a brother, Danny McManus of Sanford; three grandchildren, Ashley Cummins and husband Chris of Sumter, S.C., Brittany McManus of Fayetteville, and Vaughn Price of Fayetteville; and two great-grandchildren, Harper and Tyler Cummins. Mr. McManus was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Schneck of Goldsboro.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 7, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cedar Falls Baptist Church. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2012, at Cedar Falls Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cedar Falls Baptist Church Building Fund, 6181 Ramsey St., Fayetteville, NC 28311. Services entrusted to Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service & Crematory of Fayetteville.
