Jesse H. Byrd, Jr.

Jesse H. Byrd, Jr., 88, of Fayetteville, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022.

He was born in Erwin, NC on February 19, 1934, to the late Catherine and Jesse H. Byrd, Sr.  He was preceded in death by his dear wife, Irene.

Jesse is a retired CPA with Haigh, Byrd, and Lambert, LLP.  He was proud to serve on multiple charitable boards. 

Left to cherish Jesse’s memory is his sister, Cathy Hedgpeth and husband Joe; daughters, Pam Clark and husband George, Susan Tollefsen; grandchildren, Thompson Clark and wife Brooke, Jessica Stewart and husband Andrew; great grandchildren, Lyle Stewart, Eliza Clark, and Clark Stewart; nieces, Cathy Anderson and Christy Hedgpeth; great niece, Catherine Ann Anderson; and great nephew, Jack Anderson.

A graveside service is planned for 11am on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Lafayette Memorial Park.
