Jerry Thomas Toler

Mr. Jerry Thomas Toler, 75, of the Cedar Creek Community, of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

He was born on December 18, 1941 in Cumberland County, NC to the late Alkie and Rena Toler.

He retired from J.C. Penny’s Department Store with over 20 years of Service. Preceding him in death also are five siblings JD Toler, Raymond Toler, Junior Toler, Louise Kivette, and Frances Bryan.

He is survived by his wife Mildred Hulon Toler, of the home; one son Del Walters and wife Jennifer Moore Walters, of Stedman, NC; two grandchildren Amanda Walters and Billy Walters; one great-granddaughter Brooklynn Walters; two nephews David Garner and wife Brenda, of Fayetteville, NC and Ray Toler and wife Tiffany , of Fayetteville, NC; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Faith Builders Christian Center 2600 Wade Stedman Road, Stedman, NC 28391 prior to services.

A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Casey Welker officiating. At other times the family will receive friends at his son and daughter-in-law Del and Jennifer Walters 1946 Wade Stedman Road, Stedman, NC 28391.
