Jennifer Lynn Miller

Jennifer Miller, 40, of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024. She was born in Augusta, GA on December 6, 1983. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Emiko Dougherty.

While attending Westover High School, Jennifer’s interest included playing the violin and clarinet. After graduating, she attended Fayetteville Technical College where she pursued an interest in Cosmetology and later, Graphic Design. Her artistic talents emerged through her paintings and drawings. She accepted the role of primary caregiver for her grandparents until their deaths in 2019.

A memorial service is scheduled for noon on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Freedom Baptist Church, 2115 Middle Road, Eastover, NC. The service will be officiated by Pastor Paul Worley.

Left to cherish Jennifer’s memory are her children, Joshua Miller and Emma Miller; mother, Faye Shimizu; brother, James Miller; aunts, Mary Kepic (Milan) and Amy Cooper; cousins, James Miller, Jr., Elim Miller, Rhea Tirado, Ibrahim, Lisa Tirado, Edilberto Tirado, Jr., Daniel Cooper, Katherine Cooper-Escobar; and numerous friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Freedom Baptist Church.

Services are entrusted to Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service & Crematory.
