Jeanette Webster

Jeanette W. Webster, 90, of Fayetteville, went to sleep with the Angels on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Lilian and Leo Woods, on September 17, 1933. Also preceding her in death was her husband of 56 years, Stanley L. Webster; and sisters, Cookie Middleton and Peggy Williams.

Jeanette was avid bowler and a graduate of University of Alabama. She loved her job as Editor at the JFK Special Warfare Center. She was very involved with the Catholic Church on Ft. Liberty. When she wasn’t bowling, she enjoyed going on cruises and taking trips to Las Vegas with her husband, Stan.

Left to cherish Jeanette’s memory is her daughter, Therese (Terri) Barner and Brian Graham; grandsons, Joseph S. Steinhoff, Ryan LW Hice and wife, Jen, Andrew-Patrick M. Steinhoff and wife, Hailey; great grandsons, Ethan, Skyler, and AJ, and an extended family and close friends.

The family will welcome friends from 5-7pm on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service. A memorial service is planned for 11:30am on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Main Post Chapel, Ft. Liberty.  Inurnment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.
