James Michael Todd

James Michael Todd, 62, of Eastover, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, William Vernon Todd Sr. and Florence Todd; brother, Allan Todd and wife Debra; nephew, Christopher Todd; paternal grandparents, Harry and Erma Todd; maternal grandparents, James and Anna Allen; and brother-in-law, Ray Faircloth.

He graduated from Pennsville High School in New Jersey. Michael served in the Army for seven years then joined the Fayetteville Police Department as an officer. He served the city of Fayetteville with pride, dignity, and honor. He retired from the Fayetteville Police Department in 2009 as a Captain. After a few years of retirement Michael worked at Lowes for ten years.

Left to cherish Michael’s memory are his loving wife of 28 years, Debbie Todd; son, Jesse and wife Amber; nephew, Jacob (who was raised by Michael and Debbie since he was 14) and wife Ruby; grandsons, Gabriel and Baylor Todd; brother, William V. Todd Jr. and wife Patty; sisters, Patricia Faircloth, Vickie Soucy and husband Ed; 16 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews, one great-great nephew, and many other extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service at 2pm on Friday, September 29, 2023.
