James Martin Lovette

FAYETTEVILLE - Retired U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. James Martin Lovette, 76, of 5838 McDougal Drive, died Friday, July 22, 2011.

Services: Funeral, 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2011, in Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service & Crematory, 610 Ramsey St. in Fayetteville with the Rev. Donnie Gillis officiating. Burial with military honors in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 400 Murchison Road in Spring Lake.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2011, at Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service & Crematory.

Mr. Lovette was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia W. Lovette; parents, Norman and Bertha Lovette; two sisters, Barbara L. Holder and Clara Mae Gillis; and a brother, Leo O. Lovette. He is survived by his wife, Joyce G. Lovette of Fayetteville; daughter, Lisa Michelle Moses of Fayetteville; son, James M. Lovette II of Fayetteville; sister, Betty Jones of Olney Mills, Md.; two brothers, Robert Lovette of Johnson City, Tenn., and Thomas D. Lovette of Siler City; granddaughter, Alisa; and a number of nieces and nephews.
