Jackie Elaine Moore

Jackie Batton Moore, 53 of Fayetteville passed away Monday January 23, 2012 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Mrs. Moore was born on July 10, 1958 in Scotland Co., NC.   She retired from Bank of America in Fayetteville after 18 years of service.  

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her father, James Robert Batton, Sr.  Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband Frankie Moore of Fayetteville; 4 sons, Robert L. Heaton and wife Shannon of Rockingham, Brandon W. Miller and wife Jocelyn of Raeford, Christopher Miller of Greenville, and Andrew D. Moore and wife Dana of Valdosta GA; 2 daughters Anna C. Sweeny and husband Ian of Fayetteville and Megan L. Savage and husband Kevin of Japan; Mother Flora Batton Brown of Hamlet; 3 sisters Brenda B. Brown of Rockingham, Donna B. Wall of Charlotte, and Debbie B. Glaze of Rockingham; 1 brother James Robert Batton, Jr.  of Hamlet; 8 grand children, Courtney Heaton, Alyssa Heaton, Caleb Heaton, Alaina Miller, Rebecca Griffin, Jameson Sweeney, Zachary Savage, Braelyn Savage.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday January 26, 2012 at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service and Crematory.  Funeral Services will be held 11am Friday January 27, 2012 at Covenant Love Church.  Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park, Ramsey Street.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis TN 38148.
