Helen Baker Canady

Helen Baker Canady, 85, of Fayetteville, died Monday, September 4, 2017.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Lafayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street with the Reverend Tom Counts officiating.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Canady Sr. and son, Quincy M. Canady. She is survived by her children Charles Canady Jr., of Hope Mills; Gregory Canady and his wife, Renee, of Fayetteville; Sharon Clark and her husband, Steve, of Berkeley Springs, WV; and Christopher Canady, of Fayetteville; sisters, Jean Parker, of Benson; Florence Walker, of Fayetteville; and Virginia Wallace, of Albertson; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Johnston Health Foundation and mailed to SECU Hospice House, PO Box 1376, Smithfield, NC 27577.
