Glenda Bullock Haynes

The loss of Glenda Bullock Haynes, 77, of Fayetteville, NC will weigh greatly on many.  After marrying, Glenda moved to Alaska where she worked for National Bank of Alaska, one of the largest banks at that time, for 15 years where she was Assistant Senior Vice President .  After retiring she returned to North Carolina with her husband where she worked at United Rentals for 5 years.
Although working long hours, Glenda always had time to joke and laugh with her family and friends.  Now is a time for us to remember her most, for all the courageous and generous acts for her friends and family.
Glenda is survived by her precious constant companion Sabre, and her children Bill Haynes and Wanda Taylor, of Fayetteville, NC, Earl Haynes Jr., of Minnesota, Shirley Stewart, of Oklahoma, Larry Haynes, of Minnesota, and Renee Haynes, of Alaska; one brother Donald Bullock, of Eastover, NC; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Earl Haynes Sr., and daughter Luanne Colyer.
Glenda will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
We want to thank the ICU nursing staff at Cape Fear Valley Hospital for all the tender compassionate care they took of our mother.  Also our thanks go out to Eastover Rescue for all their help .
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service and Crematory from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 14, 2012 at Crystal Springs Chapel with Rev. Bruce Suggs officiating.  Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
The family has entrusted the services to Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service and Crematory, 610 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC.
