Gerald "Gregg" Gregory Horton

Gerald “Gregg” Horton, 54, of Linden, NC passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. He was born on August 2, 1963 in Harnett County, NC.

Gregg loved country music playing his guitar and singing brought him so much enjoyment. Spending time with his grandson D.J. was the pride of his life. Family and friends was one of the most important things to him. Gregg always had a beautiful smile on his face. Everyone that he met was treated as if always knew them having never met a stranger.

Gregg is survived by one son Dustin Horton, of the home; one daughter Leighanna Horton-Smith, of Oklahoma; one grandson D.J. Horton, of Spring Lake, NC; his mother and father Gerald and Connie Horton, of Linden, NC; three sisters Tammy Horton, of Linden, NC, Rhonda Horton, Fayetteville, NC and Barbara Brewington, of Linden, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 12:45p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service.

Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Donald Fischer officiating.
