Ms. Evelyn Hammonds Hall, 71, of Parkton, passed away Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, in Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center.
Evelyn is survived by four daughters, Wanza Fontanelli of Elizabeth, Colo., Pamela Hall of Harrison, N.J., Patricia Rodriguez of Staten Island, N.Y., and Beverly Castillo of Fayetteville; two brothers, Zander (Billy) Hammonds and William (Stu) Hammonds of Fayetteville; two sisters, Lina Berry of Fayetteville, and Lorraine Jacobs of Virginia Beach, Va.; nine grandchildren, Angela Fontanelli of Arizona, Nicholas Fontanelli of Colorado, Tricia Lama of New Jersey, Lorianne Lama of Florida, Christina Rodriguez, Anthony Rodriguez and Elizabeth Rodriguez of New York, Kimberly Castillo and Brittnee Castillo of North Carolina; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service & Crematory in Fayetteville. The service will be held Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, at 11a.m. at the funeral home, with burial following in Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Fred Jones, Jimmy Jones, Earlise Jones, Terry Johnson, Edison Lee and Justin Mullins.
