Mrs. Ethel Mae Bell Smith, 88, of Fayetteville, died peacefully Monday, August 29, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Smith, who passed in April 2010.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughters, Sheila Smith of Durham, and Robin Wright and husband Daniel of Raeford; a sibling, Alec Bell of Silva; three grandchildren, Cori Williams of Hope Mills, Maggie Frindt of Pennsylvania, and Sara Moody of Durham; and three great-grandchildren, Kade Williams and Samantha and Mason Moody.
The family would like to especially thank Shannon Patterson, a loving and compassionate caregiver, as well as the staff at Haymount Rehab and Nursing Center.
There will be a memorial service held at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service & Crematory in Fayetteville on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011, at 11a.m.
