Ernest A. Hernandez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ernest Hernandez, a devoted family man, who left us on January 29, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on December 4, 1947, in South San Francisco, California, Ernest lived a life filled with love, dedication, and passionate pursuits.

Ernest was the beloved son of Elidio and Dolores Hernandez. After graduating high school, Ernest served his country proudly in the United States Air Force, where he demonstrated a commitment to service that would define much of his life.

Ernest built a successful career as a radiologist, dedicating years to helping others through his expertise in the medical field both in the military and private sector. His commitment to his profession was as profound as his love for his family, whom he adored immensely. Ernest is survived by his loving wife, Tae Hernandez, his three sons, John and Robert Hernandez, Paul Glazener, daughter Sharon Miller, his seven grandchildren, five siblings, two daughter-in-laws, Dorothy Bronco and Joanne Hernandez, and one son-in-law, Chris Miller, who carry forward his legacy of kindness and strength.

Outside of his professional life, Ernest found joy in simple pleasures. He was an avid fisherman, spending every weekend he could on the water, where he found peace and tranquility. His love for woodworking and building things showed his creative nature and craftsmanship. Additionally, Ernest took great pride in raising chickens and ducks, finding joy in the routine of caring for them.

Ernest's impact extended beyond his hobbies; he was a person of great character, always ready to lend a hand or offer a kind word. His gentle spirit and unwavering support touched the lives of many, and he will be remembered for his warm smile and the love he so freely shared.

The funeral service honoring Ernest's life will be private. While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the beautiful memories he created and the indelible mark he left on our hearts.

As we say goodbye to Ernest Hernandez, we remember him not only as a husband, father, and friend but as a man who lived fully, loved deeply, and inspired those around him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love he gave so generously in his lifetime.
