Emery Earle Gibbs

Emery Gibbs, 59, of Fayetteville, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2020 at UNC Hospital Chapel Hill.

Emery was born in Fayetteville on December 1, 1960 to Audrey and the late Charles C. Gibbs.

He worked at Cape Fear Valley Highsmith Rainey Hospital for over 20 years as an X-Ray Technician.

Left to cherish the memory of Emery are his wife Leanne; daughter Nina Gibbs; sons, Elijah and Joshua Gibbs; mother, Audrey Gibbs; brother, Dr. Charles Gibbs; several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and close friends; and his beloved dog, Tyson.

A private family service is planned per his wishes.
