Eloise Edwards Murphy

Eloise Edwards Murphy, 94, of Fayetteville, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Suart Bilyeu and Walter F. Murphy; parents, Alonza Edwards and Fannie Poole; brothers, Zeke and Linwood Edwards; sisters, Virginia Holland and Dorothy Lawrence; and her nephew Gregory Lawrence.

Eloise is survived by her sister-in-law, Marie Edwards; nephews, Clyde (Gwen) Edwards, Joseph (Judy) Cox, Dean (Lori) Edwards; great nieces, Virginia Ann Edwards (Bikash Roy), Tracy (Dave) Gorman, and Caitlyn Edwards; great-great niece, Gwen Gorman; great-great nephew Zeke Gorman.

She was an active member of Salem United Methodist Church and formerly of Temple Baptist Church.  Eloise retired from Civil Service in 1979 as a dental assistant.

The family will receive friends from 12pm to 1 pm on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Salem United Methodist Church.  The funeral service will begin at 1pm.  Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.
