Mrs. Elma Hansford Palermo, 94, of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2013.
She was born on April 27, 1918, in Rochester, NY, to the late John and Mame Hansford.
Elma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and friend to all that knew her.
Elma was affectionately known as "Gram". "Gram" was devoted to her family and put everyone's needs before her own. She was full of life and loved each and everyone in her own special way.
She was preceded in death by her husband Santo Palermo; three sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by one daughter Gail F. Sees, of Fayetteville, NC; six grandchildren Jerry Quinn, Danny Quinn, Linda Oemke , Bobby Quinn, Michael Quinn, and Jaime Caulder; 10 great-grandchildren Robbie, Amy, Stephen, Patrick, Rebecca, Shelby, Logan, Hayley, Alexis, and Anthony; and three great-great-grandchildren Trinity, Makayla, and Savannah; a special niece Lynn, and a special nephew Robbie; numerous other nieces and nephews and host of friends.
A private graveside service will be held at Holy Sepulcher Catholic Church, in Rochester, NY.
