Elinor Margaret Boggs

Elinor Margaret Boggs, 84, of Fayetteville, passed away on April 28, 2021.  
She was born in Albany, NY on October 1, 1936, to the late James and Beatrice Christie.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Charles.  
A doting mother, grandmother, and great grandmother Elinor will be missed greatly by her family and friends.  She was a devoted member of Northwood Temple Church.
Left to cherish Elinor’s memory are her children, Daniel Sweeney and wife Jennifer, Laurie Sweeney, Terri VanAlstyne and husband Scott, and Deborah Huckabee and husband Rodney; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
A memorial service is planned for 1:30pm on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Dr. John Hedgepeth.  Burial will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.
