Eleanor Maynor Burnette

Eleanor Maynor Burnette, 74, of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

She was born on May 24, 1943, in Harnett Co., NC to Henry Carter Maynor and Callie Maynor. Her father preceded her in death.

She was a member of Galilee Freewill Holiness Church. She retired from Purolator. She loved her church family, for they were a very important role in her life. She never met stranger and could be friends with anyone she came in contact with.

She is also preceded in death by a brother Tony Maynor; two sisters Pauline Goins and Patricia Locklear.

She is survived by her loving mother Callie Maynor, of Fayetteville, NC; a sister Rosie Brewington and husband Bertus, of Clinton, NC; one brother Henry Howard Maynor, and wife Kathy, of Eastover, NC; and host of extended family, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Galilee Freewill Holiness Church 3525 Sunnyside School Road Fayetteville, NC 28312. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the church with Rev. Jerry Groves and Rev. Ricky Burnette officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park.

At other times the family will receive friends at the home of her mother 2073 Goins Drive, Fayetteville, NC, 28306.
