Mr. Elbert Grey “E.G.” Brady,  Jr. 77, of Fayetteville, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
He was born on Friday, February 28, 1936 in Cumberland County, NC to the late Elbert Grey Brady, Sr., and Margaret Raynor Brady.  
He was predeceased by his son Scott Grey Brady.
He was a loving and generous husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed.  
He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.  
Mr. Brady was a retired insurance agent and owner of Dixie Billiards .    
“E.G.” is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Joanne Gibson Brady, of Fayetteville, NC; one son Pastor Todd Brady, and wife Angela, of Eastover, NC; two daughters  Beth Brady, of Orlando, FL and Gaye Carter, and husband Bobby, of Chapel Hill, NC; one sister Anna Gore, and husband Bobby, of Fayetteville, NC; three grandchildren Joshua Lee Brady, Rebecca Marie Brady, and Joanna Paige Carter.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 11:45 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service.  Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 in Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service Chapel with Chaplain Bob Carter officiating.  Burial will follow in Cross Creek Cemetery #3.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The River Community Church 6322 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28311.
