Mrs. Doris Jean Price, 64, of Fayetteville, passed away on Monday, May 06, 2013, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, in Fayetteville, NC.
She was born on August 30, 1948, in Union County, NC to the late Walter A. Wright and Leila Mae Morris Wright.
She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Boyce Price and one daughter Sandra C. Maitner; three sisters Mary F. Brazzil, L. Kay Gibson, and Willie Mae Wright; one brother Walter A. Wright.
She is survived by one son David W. Price; two sisters Elsie R. Griffin, of Fayetteville, NC and Joyce E. Eagle, of Concord, NC; one brother James. A. Wright, of Monroe, NC and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2013, at Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service, with Rev. Archie Barringer officiating. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park West.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
