Donna Caroline Harris

Donna Caroline Harris, 55, of Fayetteville, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, in her home surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born in Fayetteville, on September 1, 1962, to Katie Ruth Altman and the late Floyd J. Cowart.

She was a local florist who took great pride in decorating the homes of many of her clients.  She also enjoyed gardening, especially growing tomato plants.  She was a very kind, selfless mother, grandmother and friend who always put those before herself regardless of the task.

Left to cherish Donna’s memory is her husband, Jerry Harris, sons, Anthony Harris and wife Jennifer, Tyler Harris and wife Brittany; parents, Bill and Katie Ruth Altman; brothers, David Cowart and wife Adeania, Richard Cowart and wife Debbie, grandchildren, Haylee, Jaida, Bentley, and Grayson; nieces and nephews, Daniel Cowart and wife Dee, Jennifer Cowart, Allison Cowart, and Jacob Cowart.

A funeral service is planned for 1 pm on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service.  Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.  The family will welcome friends from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Friday, March 30, 2018, at Sullivan’s Highland Funeral Service.
