Donald E. Fields

Mr. Donald Eugene “Don” Fields, 80, of Hope Mills, passed away at his home on Sunday, May 22, 2022.

Don worked for Farm Bureau Insurance for over 30 years.   He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to travel.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at 10 am at Sullivan’s Highland Chapel with Rev. Gary Fulker presiding.  The burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park on Ramsey Street.

Don is survived by his wife, Diane Fields of the home; daughter, Julia Strickland and her husband, Lee, of Ft. Mill, SC; one grandson, John Lee; step-daughter, Amanda Sloan of Hartsville, SC; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, May 25, 2022, from 6 to 8 pm at Sullivan’s Highland.
